Tugann Gaelcholáiste Phort Láirge tús áite don dalta chun forbairt is foghlaim acadúil, cultúrtha, sóisialta, spioradálta, fisiciúil  agus pearsanta  a chothú  i dtimpeallacht chaoin mhuinteartha lán Ghaelach.

Gaelcholáiste Phort Láirge puts the student to the fore to develop and learn academically, culturally, socially, spiritually, physically and personally, in an all Irish environment that is warm and friendly.

Táimid tiomnaithe ardchaighdeán oideachais a sholáthar a chuidíonn don dalta buaic a c(h)umais a bhaint amach go hacadúil.

We are committed to providing a high standard of education that assists  the student to reach his/her full potential academically.

Aithnítear agus cothaítear na buanna agus éagsúlachtaí a bhaineann le gach dalta ar leith trí dheiseanna a chruthú sa scoil a ligeann dó/dí  é/í féin a chur in iúl mar dhuine ann féin; tríd imeachtaí éagsúla idir acadúla, spóirt, ceoil, sóisialta, spioradálta agus araile.

The talents and differences that each individual student possess are recognised and promoted by providing opportunities in the school that allows him/her to express himself/herself as a person in his/her own right through activities including: academic, sporting, social, musical, spiritual, and others.

Cothaítear bród agus féinmhuinín sna daltaí chun an Ghaeilge a úsáid mar ghnáth theanga chumarsáide ní amháin i dtimpeallacht na scoile ach sa ghnáthshaol laethúil. Táimid tiomnaithe daltaí ardoilte, muiníneacha, measúla  a fhorbairt le haghaidh a thabhairt ar shocaí ilghnéitheach ár linne; chomh maith, le féinaitheantas láidir acu ina mbíonn an fhéiniúlacht Ghaelach agus luachanna na Críostaíochta mar chuid lárnach.

We promote the students to develop pride and self confidence in themselves to speak Irish as a natural means of communication not alone in the school environment but also in their daily lives. We are committed to developing students who are highly educated, confident and respectful who can approach our multicultural  society with a strong sense of self identity and central to this is their own sense of Irishness coupled with Christian values.
