Reáchtáiltear Club Óige – club Gaeilge do dhéagóirí 12-15 bliana ó Ghaelcholáiste Phort Láirge in Ionad Óige agus Pobail Fearann Seoinín gach Aoine tar éis scoile le linn an téarma scoile. Bunaíodh an club seo i 2017 agus an aidhm atá leis ná deis a thabhairt do dhéagóirí labhairt as Gaeilge i dtimpeallacht shóisialta lasmuigh den scoil. Eagraítear réimse leathan gníomhaíochtaí: spóirt laistigh agus lasmuigh, cluichí grúpa, ealaín, ceardaíocht, bácáil, seomra cluichí 7rel, ag brath ar shuim na rannpháirtithe.
‘Club Oige’, an Irish speaking youth group for young people aged 12 to 15 years aimed specifically at students of Gaelcholáiste Phort Láirge takes place every Friday after school during the school term. The club was founded in 2017, with the aim of proving a social opportunity for young people to interact with their peers through Irish outside of the school environment. There is a wide range of programmes and activities on offer including group games, indoor/outdoor sports, art & crafts, baking, quizzes etc. along with the use of a fully equipped games room.
